Professional Background
I didn’t always envision a career in web development. In college I studied Psychology, obtaining a Bachelor’s Degree and preparing to attend graduate school, but eventually decided that although I foster an avid interest in psychology, it wasn’t the career for me.
I had always been intrigued by programming and began to take classes in web and software programming, quickly discovering a passion for web development. I love the way programming languages are constantly evolving and am passionate about learning new and exciting ways to develop a site’s layout, effects, functionality, and responsiveness.
My Life and Interests
I am mom to a son that backflips anywhere and everywhere and is obsessed with Monster Jam, and two dogs who enjoy playing tug-of-war and being silly. In my free time, I enjoy scenic mountain-drives, hiking with my dogs, watching my favorite television shows, crafting, and listening to podcasts and audiobooks. I am passionate about animal welfare and LGBTQ equality and volunteer for both causes whenever I have the chance.
